Local rhyme-smith and slow jam wunderkin, Benjiphonik, has recently traveled to Hilo, Hawaii, to film his latest music video: Lazy Dayz. The song is quite obviously about Benji’s hometown in California, but for some reason, the singer insisted on using Hilo as his “exotic video location.” Local Hawaiian authorities issued a statement saying,

“I thought the song was about Riverside, California? Why is this nerd filming his video in Hilo? Bro, this dude’s pupule.”

Mr. Phonik couldn’t be reached for comment, but his travel agent assured us that there was a very good reason why the video was shot in Hawaii (she’s just not sure what that reason is). Regardless, Benjiphonik has done it again. He traveled to parts unknown, sang a catchy tune, and took us all along for the ride.
