Help The Homeless ~ “Won’t You Be My Neighbor” ~ Benefit Cover Song

The cover of the theme from Mr.Rogers Neighborhood, “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?”, was born out of a loving friendship between Seattle music luminaries, Julia Massey and Eva Walker. The two close friends share a common understanding of and belief in kindness, love and mutual support. In this vein, the two front-women recruited Alaia D’Alessandro to round out the superstar trio and “Neighbors” was created. Thanks to the generous ear of London Bridge Studio’s Eric Lilavois, the string composition of Andrew Joslyn, London Tone Music, Jeff Heiman & Jeff Ross (2 Jeffs on Music) and the beautiful cover art design of Jaci Sawtelle, the song brings to life the feelings of compassion and empathy in a time when they’re needed most. To honor the spirit of the legendary TV show host, Mr. Fred Rogers, Massey, Walker, and D’Alessandro recorded “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” and wish to share it with one and all.
